Today is the day you're supposed to have your decorations down or it's unlucky. We actually took ours down on NYE but I wanted to use this picture somewhere in PAD so this is my excuse. My Mum makes our Christmas cake the same every year - icing to look like peaked snow, this Santa decoration and trees and a little signpost (out of shot). I love it. I'm a shameless traditionalist when it comes to Christmas and even though I never eat it (hate fruitcake and marzipan), I love this cake!
