I've been trying to get a decent moon pic for ages (inspired by Clogsilk) but haven't managed it - even with my tripod. This was a chance snap as I saw the beautiful crescent moon up in the afternoon - so I didn't have to worry about a long shutter speed. I'm no where near as good as Clare yet but am glad I captured one decentish pic!
